Ella Guru is a new project from southern Stockholm by guitarist Tommy Galento (OK Star Orchestra, Galento Sound Service) and rhythm maker Daniel Strand (Bike Thieves).
The duo first met in the winter of 2021 at a jam among friends, but soon continued the sessions on their own. The playful grooves of balearic guitars, caustic bass lines and rich percussions that came to life in Galento’s studio are now available on their debut EP “No Strings Attached”.
