Jazzanova is back! Together with other great remixers like Siggatunez, The Square Sun and Enzo Elia they are remixing the Ghanaian percussionist and meanwhile Cologne-based Afrolectric legend Frank Kojo!
The result is a wonderful and outstanding Afro-House and Disco production with an amazing and electrified vibe for all dancefloors and Dj sets. On the A side, there's an amazing funky tropical and boogieesque remix by Jazzanova. Furthermore a high energy Afro House version from Siggatunez for the previously unreleased proto-house percussion track "Moko Lee" which was originally produced in 1988 by Frank Kojo and the studio keyboardist of the group Boney M., named "Chico" de los Reyes. A hypnotic electronic proto Afro-House masterpiece that, until now, hasn't seen the light of day.
On the B side are three marvellous remixes ranged from dubby Afro House to Italo Disco from Siggatunez, Enzo Elia and The Square Sun for the electric Afro-Synth anthem "Arabian Nights", which was composed by Frank Kojo and Helmut Zerlett. This original track was produced by the legendary Holger Czukay and recorded in 1980 at Conny Plank´s studio nearby cologne.
